Fokus magazine3/2/2023 ![]() ![]() The time had now come to create a new communication medium for the FHWS family and its partners. The “Network” newsletter, which was sent as printed copies to FHWS’ external partners and companies, and sadly has no longer been able to be published in recent years for capacity reasons was the basis for the current online magazine. We report on scientific and student projects from teaching and research, as well as things worth knowing from the entirety of campus life. But how did this magazine actually come into being and who writes the articles?įokus Orange stands for current information and content on the topic of FHWS. Welcome to FHWS!įlashy, brightly-coloured and a touch of orange: that's Fokus Orange. Let us inspire, inform, and entertain you! Become part of the FHWS family and join us on our journey, together, into the future. In this way, FHWS wants to take students, FHWS members and cooperation partners with it as it embarks on the digital age: Showing what’s going on with artificial intelligence, letting the first roboticists graduated from FHWS tell about their studies, seeing how everyday life can be reshaped by intelligent software – starting from architectural designs and Smart Home solutions through communication design with augmented and virtual reality to thermography processes in electrical engineering. Whether stories from research or from cooperating companies, portraits of creative alumni, glimpses into young start-ups or stories from students at home and abroad – the topics provide many insights into university life at FHWS. Fokus Orange takes its readers on a journey to the world of science, packed with impressions, short movies, podcasts, and articles, and it shares personal perspectives in a cross-medial way. With the new multimedia FHWS magazine “Fokus Orange”, the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt not only supplies the latest news, it also tells stories.
