The Lachlan River at Booligal Weir may reach around 3.30 metres around Friday, with minor flooding, slightly below the August 1990 flood level. The Lachlan River at Hillston Weir may reach 3.30 metres around 30 November, with major flooding, similar to the August 1990 flood level. Major flooding is occurring at Hillston and minor flooding is occurring at Booligal. Lower Lachlan River downstream of Euabalong to Booligal Weir: The Lachlan River at Euabalong may reach around 7.40 metres Tuesday evening with major flooding, slightly below the June 1952 flood level. The Lachlan River at Condobolin Bridge may remain around 7.40 metres through to Thursday, with major flooding. The Lachlan River at Condobolin Bridge is currently at 7.35 metres and steady, with major flooding. Major flooding is occurring at Condobolin and Euabalong. Lower Lachlan River downstream of Jemalong Weir to Euabalong: Further rises are possible as upstream floodwaters arrive. The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream may reach around 8.00 metres during Wednesday, with major flooding. The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir Downstream is currently at 7.92 metres and steady, with major flooding. The Lachlan River at Cottons Weir may reach around 7.60 metres Wednesday morning, with major flooding. A prolonged major flood peak is expected at Forbes and may continue through to the weekend. The Lachlan River at Forbes Iron Bridge may reach around 10.80 metres during Wednesday, with major flooding similar to the June 1952 flood level. The Lachlan River at Nanami may reach around 14.60 metres early Wednesday morning with major flooding. The Lachlan River at Cowra peaked at 14.28 metres around 01:00 am Tuesday, and is currently at 11.83 metres and falling, with moderate flooding. Major flooding is occurring at Nanami, Forbes, Cottons Weir and Jemalong. Lachlan River downstream of Wyangala Dam to Jemalong Weir: Peak predictions will be provided once upstream peaks are observed. The floodwaters from upstream Nanami are likely to cause water levels to remain elevated at Forbes and a prolonged major flood peak which may continue through to the weekend.Īdditional river level rises are likely along the Lachlan River downstream of Forbes Iron Bridge. Upstream at Nanami river levels continue to slowly rise with a second peak likely to occur Wednesday morning.
